My Students

My K-6 reading intervention students are active and curious; students who learn best through hands-on activities, active learning, up-to-date technology, and play. The diversity found among my students is simply a mirror of the community in which they live.

My classroom is unique!

I serve all students in grades K-7 who are struggling readers. All of my students enter my room eager and willing to work their hardest to gain more reading power! They are excited to participate in the reading activities my staff and I have ready for them.

My Project

Each day 30-50 students come to the reading intervention room to receive strategic, targeted instruction. Currently, we have a very small rectangular, cramped, table that is not working!

We have limited space and need just the perfect table.

I have had this requested table before in a previous classroom and it is perfect for group work. The teacher sits equal distance from all students, making it easy to deliver instruction equally to all.

Your kind donation will be greatly appreciated, well used, and loved by the groups of children who enter the intervention room; the students of the most need for quality instruction in a comfortable space.
