My Project
My students have been impacted by COVID-19, having never attended school for a full year in person. A few of students have attended school in person for a portion of last year, many were hybrid and or virtual all year. These are factors that may have contributed to my students wide range of abilities in the classroom.
Many of my students struggled with virtual learning and understanding and /or grasping basic skills that will help them to be successful.
These resources like the Alphabet Sounds Teaching Tubes Building Blocks will help my students to understand the sounds that letters have when creating words. The class sets of white board will also help my students to be able to use their motor skills to learn to write. The Base-10 blocks will help my students who struggle to understand the concepts of their numbers (this being an important skill in first grade).
