This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The scholars of our school are diverse not only in culture but in their ability to think as individuals and as a team. They are a genuinely loving mass of minds that are eager to learn and grow as well as are eager to explore. They are sure to be intelligible contributors to society as they travel through life. Our low-income students deserve equal opportunities to our more fortunate northern city schools. Our school strives to teach our students to thrive and they consistently rise to the occasion.

My Project

Our schools have very small funding for our classrooms. The entire grade level only gets $500 for everyone in 5th grade. We are in desperate need of extra storage space so the students may have a more organized classroom environment. Students will be able to function at a higher level with better organization and less clutter. As students get older, they need to learn organizational skills for their future. Please consider this project a top priority for the future of the S.C.I. fifth graders. I cannot thank you enough in advance for any and all donations!
