Interactive Whiteboard for Interactive Learning!

My students need an interactive white board. This will provide endless opportunities for interactive learning in both small group and whole group settings.

My Students

Our classroom consists of children that LOVE to learn. The positive thinking and contagious love for learning has established a classroom community that is continually thriving.

"Think BIG and SHINE Bright" is what we strive to do each day in our classroom.

That, along with a sea of smiling faces ready to start each day with a growth mindset and positive attitude toward learning. It is the immense amount of happiness and love we feel from our students each day that inspires us to provide our students with the most optimal learning environment that we can.

My Project

The use of our projector is a daily activity in our classroom. Using the workshop model in all areas of learning, students are exposed to whole group mini-lessons. By having an interactive whiteboard, we can make these mini-lessons more exciting because the students will be able to participate in the learning. With such technology in class, every student will be anxious to try out how the board works. That can spur the students'enthusiasm to get involved in learning process using the interactive whiteboard. Additionally, we are constantly moving and utilizing choice in our rotations - an interactive whiteboard would help the children by providing a visual flow chart of the classroom rotations and allow the students to further choose how they want to learn in a way that is optimal for them.

An interactive whiteboard in our room would enhance learning, increase participation and foster collaboration.

Students would be encouraged to collaborate and be apart of the process of learning, rather than just participants of a lesson. Students would benefit from more engaging lessons and further exposure to technology. We would be able to create interactive graphic organizers, collaborate on anchor charts to be displayed during rotations, draw and design ideas for STEAM projects, play interactive math games or even just let our creativity shine during earned free time. The possibilities are truly endless!
