My Project
I’d like to give my students the use of an interactive whiteboard to increase student participation in daily whole group lessons. I’d also like to use shadow puppetry to improve their understanding of word problems. Shadow puppetry will allow students to show word problems in new ways and allow them to fully understand the word problems at hand. Students will create shadows on the white paper, creating a visual display of word problems. This will help students apply real world math problems to themselves. Our students deserve to have fun doing math!
