Help me give my students these vocabulary journals! These journals will allow students to build their vocabularies by recording and organizing information about new words.
English Language Learners love to build their vocabularies and strengthen their skills in English communication.
Having all of their new words in one journal to review each day (and evening with their parents) will show them that they are steadily growing.
The students will keep a list of new words they encounter throughout their school day. Then, we will review the list and choose words to "dive deeper" into through research and discussion. These journals provide space for them to record information and add creative interaction such as original sentences and visuals.
