Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students come from many backgrounds. From Spanish to English and many other variety of languages. These students live in an urban population with many in a poor population.

Some of these students come from families that live on the street, but want their kids to have an education.

Some of these students come from families with low income. While some of these students live in a decent community.

My students are in a special needs program that require lots of attention. Hands on projects and needs are essential and life skills are taught at their level.

My Project

Every student is different. That is why in my special education class I want to provide my students with the best opportunities for learning and to experience the wide range of technology used in this world.

My Multiple Disability Students will be able to use this smart board projector with a great emphasis on educational needs.

They will be able to explore this device using special equipment designed for them.

These students will be able to navigate the screen and effectively learn in the educational environment. The projector will be a first step in achieving the goal of getting a smart board.
