Interactive Storytelling Kits- Building Language One Activity at a Time
My students need these fun, interactive storytelling activity kits to help build their language skills.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Kindergarten at our school is challenging but amazing! We build our classroom community around what we have in common but we also celebrate our differences. Many of our students show up to school delayed in language skills because their families have not learned American Sign Language. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate signs to be able to name objects around the room. We celebrate little wins together every day.
We are very imaginative and love to act out our books and do any activities that add to our text-to-self experience.
We spend a lot of time developing our language skills and doing literacy activities. As English language learners, books are so important to my students and are truly valued.
These books and the activities will enhance their language learning. These big books are perfect for my students because they are visual learners. I can read them the story and be a language model for them. Then they can do the activities and use some of the language that they learned from reading the book.
The best way to increase students' reading skills is to read more and to be read to and these books will continue to help my students increase their language and grow stronger in reading their reading ability.
This project will help foster and grow their love for reading.
