My Project

I am attempting to increase student engagement and interest in books! A story box contains hands-on literacy items a student can see, touch, hear, and hold that are part of the story we read together.

All students gather information through experiences.

These story boxes will benefit a range of students with special needs who require more hands-on activities to learn concepts, add meaning to words, and gain information.

These story boxes will benefit a wide range of students with disabilities, including ASD and DCD, from kindergarten through 5th grade.
