My Project
Thank you for considering my project! I am a second-year teacher of speech improvement and through this project, I'd like to provide my students with interactive storybook materials for them to utilize during speech and language therapy sessions! Interactive stories often involve elements like decision-making, role-playing, and problem-solving, which actively engage students. This increased engagement helps maintain their interest and motivation during therapy.
These materials also provide a rich context for practicing vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure.
As students navigate the story, they use language to make choices, describe events, and interact with characters, reinforcing their language skills. My goal is to provide more hands-on activities to engage my students during speech sessions.
My students love to read new books and love hands-on activities! They will be so excited to use these materials to enhance their speech therapy sessions! Thank you for your consideration!
