My Students
I teach Pre-K, ages 3 to 5 years. All of my students have overcome adversities or live with trauma or a special need. Most of my students live in poverty. I individually try to bond with each family and put my best foot forward to get them the intervention services they need. My students are a blessing to me because each one has a special place in my heart.
I believe these students will achieve their goals in life through education and have bright futures.
I set individual goals for each student. I focus many of my lessons on science and math. These students are very young, and it is up to me to set their educational foundations.
My Project
My class love to talk and participate so I’m adding a few more interactive books, music and felt board stories to our center time area! We will use the board books to make literary plays after reading stories and have my student play short roles pertaining to the books. We are also learning different nursery rhymes and learning how words sound the same and different! We will use the felt board stories to sequence the songs and stories and learn stories have a beginning middle and end . We will discuss plot, characters, title page author and illustrator and draw some of our own stories .
