This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With virtual simulations, students get to visualize and interact with concepts outside the realm of a traditional lab. Science simulations allow students to engage in experiential learning in a number of ways. It can provide a safe space for students to make mistakes and learn from them. In a simulation, there are no real-world consequences for making a mistake, so students can experiment and try new things without fear of failure. This can help them to develop a growth mindset and a willingness to take risks.

Your support will help transform our classroom into a high-tech, high-engagement learning space where students experience physics, not just read about it.

With your help, we can turn Sci-mulation into a truly realistic and inspiring science experience!

The MacBook Air will make it easier for the teacher to show and demonstrate the experiment, or to mimic such scenarios and real-world challenges when developing a concept and lesson plan. Students who use this technology are more likely to understand the true purpose of the principles and how they will be applied in real-world situations since they have firsthand experience with them.

Additionally, the students will use a variety of interactive simulation websites, including Phet, oPhysics, The Physics Classroom, and others. Using simulations expands the possibilities that are limited in just one classroom. With all of these, the learners will be more involved in their science classes, have a greater appreciation for the subjects, and realize how important it is to have an exploratory mind in academics.
