Interactive Notebooks for Algebra and Geometry

My Students

Our school is comprised of a diverse population of students. Since COVID, students are back in class to in learning but are struggling to reengage in a meaningful way. In math, we are learning and relearning skills form the past year and a half while also learning grade level content.

My Project

This project will be used by the students and teacher to engage in learning Algebra 1 and Geometry through Interactive notebooks.

Students learn math best when it is hands on and they are able to engage with the material creatively.

Geometry students will use protractors and compasses to create geometric constructions. Both Geometry and Algebra 1 students will use the pencils, colored pencils, glue and pens as they create their interactive notebook. The teacher will use the paper cutter for foldables for students to glue into their notebooks. Their are also organizational supplies like pencil books and a bookshelf that will hold the supplies and notebooks.
