Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project will provide our students with composition notebooks for our interactive notebooks for math class. These notebooks eventually become a mathematical resource for years to come for my students. It allows them to learn note-taking and studying strategies in an engaging manner.

Interactive notebooks can help students process information, study and review for quizzes and exams, and personalize the content knowledge being presented.

Interactive notebooks are a fun way for children to create books all on their own that are geared toward grade-relevant content. As our middle school scholars prepare for their transition to high school, this project will serve as an opportunity to develop life-long skills, habits, and strategies for success.
