This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My group of 7th graders are super sweet and overachievers. They will do whatever it takes to get the A,, but they have very limited resources at home and at school. The district provides us with the basic supplies, but that's not enough for fun science projects.

My Project

I would like to create an interactive science notebook with my students. There are lot of resources on TPT that can be printed out immediately and glued onto a composition notebook. Students and I will work on each page, unit by unit, and fill them up as we finish the year. The interactive notebooks allow students to refer back to it when they finish their assignments, take tests, or whenever the can't remember a scientific term. Each student's interactive notebook will be different, but fun since they will add their own colors to it.
