it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me prepare for the new school year with essential supplies for interactive notebooks that will support my students as they explore American Government. These notebooks are used daily and will be especially important as students gear up for their end-of-semester state testing. Items like glue sticks, colored pencils, highlighters, scissors, and sturdy notebooks will allow students to engage more actively with content by organizing information visually, making it easier to review and retain key concepts.
Interactive notebooks empower students to take ownership of their learning.
Some may choose to use color to emphasize important topics, while others may doodle, sketch diagrams, or create visual summaries that help them make sense of complex ideas. These tools give students flexibility in how they process and remember information. Whether they prefer a creative or minimalist approach, these supplies support different learning styles and needs.
My students are thoughtful, curious, and diverse learners. Many of them thrive with hands-on, creative activities that go beyond textbook learning. By equipping them with the right tools, I can help them build confidence, deepen their understanding of government, and perform better on high-stakes assessments. These materials will truly make a difference in their daily learning experience.
