My Project

One of my goals as a 4th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher is to help my students learn through practical hands-on learning.

I love using interactive notebooks in my classroom because it ensures engagement from ALL students, and encourages responsibility and self-reflection, as well as creativity.

I teach in a low-income school in Eastern Kentucky and unfortunately, not all students have access to the supplies they need for the classroom.

This year I would really love to be able to supply my students with all the resources they need on the first day of school. For this project, I would like to have a binder for each student that holds all of their Reading, Writing, and Social Studies notes.
