This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school is trying something new next year. We’re introducing interactive notebooks! After doing a lot of research, talking to other teachers, reading blogs, and Pinterest I have found several things that might make this transition easier for everyone.

Ribbons, rulers, envelopes, glue, colored paper, and more will all make this notebook easier to manage and give students a chance to make it their own.

I haven’t met my kids for next year yet but if they’re anything like this year's I know they will be so excited for the chance to be creative and have fun with their work. My kids this year have shown me just how amazing this age group is and how willing they are to learn but that they need to be more hands on and invested in their learning. I believe that this notebook will help them.
