This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are determined, creative, and always ready to learn something new. They are also caring and responsible individuals. Every day they show up ready to learn. Most of them enjoy being able to help their classmates when they are not understanding a certain concept. They understand that it is important to always help each other succeed.

My students love to be challenged.

Allowing them to have a variety of options will help target each individual students' needs.

My Project

The materials being requested are interactive math games. The great thing about Math is that there are plenty of manipulatives to help reinforce the desired concept/lesson. Of course. there are students who usually need more practice to fully understand what is being taught which is when the requested material will be used.

Interactive games will allow the students to be fully engaged while practicing the necessary concepts.

These games will be used during small group rotations as well as tutorial periods to ensure that concepts are being targeted.

The tablets will not only be used for the interactive game, but also to access online educational websites and apps.
