This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle school students come from families with limited resources. Often times they do not have their basic supplies to work in my math class.

I want my students to develop ownership and pride over their work and enjoy learning math.

I want them to start working in their interactive notebooks on day 1 of the next school year and continue through to the last day. Each one of my students will use the notebooks, pencils, pens, and post-it notes to create a resourceful and interactive notebook with colorful notes, topic tabs, and engaging images.
