Help me give my students the opportunity to feel like their math lessons are being taught just in our physical classrooms. My students benefit from seeing math being modeled on an easel with tools such as fraction strips!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are energetic, excited, and motivated learners. Since our school building has closed, I want to keep my kids excited about school even if we are not in the same building. Schools may be closed, but classes are still in session, and my goal is to continue to motivate bright minds!
My Project
Accessing an easel and fraction tools will support my students' understanding of fractions!
Math needs to be hands-on, and these tools will support this method of interactive teaching.
My students benefit from models and math tools to visualize, grasp, and hold onto mathematical concepts.
I know my kids will be ecstatic to engage in math lessons using tools that are presented in similar classroom representation! Math will come to life and motivation will be enhanced! Mathematicians learn best with tools of the trade! We are scholars, thinkers, and mathletes!
