My Students

My classroom consists of students where 100% of the students are eligible for free lunch based on the family. My students are classified as emotionally disturbed with a low social economic background . However, I like to say that they are brilliant explorers of knowledge and active learners.

They are very eager and ready to learn.

They face every daily challenge with courage and vigor. Lastly, they refuse to be defined by their disability. They are constantly surprising me with their willingness, creativity, enthusiasm to learn.

My Project

Chromebooks are important because they will allow my students to collaborate and help extend a teacher's reach in the classroom. Students can receive more assistance with their work and develop different skills that they may have struggled with otherwise. It will increase my students vocabulary and help them explore the world around them. Also, it will make them active readers.

They will also, help engage my students with interactive lessons and prepare them for an increasingly digital workforce.

In today's age, computer literacy is an integral component of any student's learning plan. These chrome books will bolster my students' computer skills and make learning come alive.
