This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is a place where interactive and engaging whole group instruction brings learning to life, and this project will give me the tools I need to make our environment even more effective. I’m requesting chart paper, a chart paper easel, Sharpie markers, and manila folders to create and organize anchor charts—these are the visual aids that make our daily lessons more meaningful. These charts will help my students connect with key concepts, providing a reference point they can turn to whenever they need a little extra support or clarity. With these tools, I can bring abstract ideas to life in a way that sticks with them.

My goal for this project is to create a more visually engaging and supportive learning space that truly meets the needs of all my students.

By using anchor charts in our whole group instruction, I’m hoping to boost comprehension and encourage my students to dive deeper into the material. These visual aids will help them grasp complex ideas and give them the confidence to participate actively in our discussions and lessons. I believe this project will ultimately lead to higher levels of engagement, understanding, and academic success for all my students.
