This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom population is entirely composed of early childhood special education students, therefore in order for them to take full advantage of instructional time they need some extra resources such as this board that will help them comfortably participate in writing and handling magnetic letters and manipulatives to show their understanding of academic content and receive the appropriate feedback. Another important aspect regarding the use of this board is that it would allow my students to use it during self selected centers where they can use magnetic building blocks to stimulate their creativity and work collaboratively with others.
