My Project
Instead of traditionally known interactive notebooks, I want to bring interactive folders to my students. The same concept, but I want my high school students to learn more about personal organization while learning English content. Through the use of interactive folders, they are able to keep all their materials located in one place and create their own English resource they can use for classes to come.
These interactive folders will ignite a desire for exploration and ownership, driving students to achieve far beyond what they once believed possible.
By personalizing their folders, both inside and out, students can see how their education grows and evolves, while also learning key personal organization skills. Just as important, the interactive approach fosters metacognition and independent thinking, qualities that will continue to serve them long after they leave my classroom.
