My students need a Now! Board which is an interactive board for our computer lab.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Students today live in a digital world. The best way to connect with them is through technology. Imagine being able to offer young urban students a chance to interact with technology that will ultimately be in future classrooms around the country.
I teach technology in an urban Kindergarten through 5th grade school.
The school is located in an area of high poverty. We receive Title One funding and my students receive free breakfast and lunch to ensure that they have a meal to eat. For many of my students, school is the only place where they have hands on experience with technology.
As you can imagine being a technology teacher can be frustrating here. Our budget lacks leeway for technology and my students crave it in their everyday use. I want to be able to become more interactive with my lessons through the use of a Now! Board system. It is a portable interactive whiteboard system. It doesn't require permanent installation or electrical installation which a regular interactive whiteboard would require. Since the overhead cost is high for a regular and popular interactive whiteboard, the Now! Board system will replace them, with the possibility of purchasing several Now! Boards for the price of a regular interactive whiteboard.
By having a Now! Board, my students in my computer lab class will be able to easily show off and practice their skills in group work or in front of the class. They will be able to create interactive presentations for their research projects. They will engage in teaching each other computer coding with their solutions to coding problems.
You can help create a 21 century computer classroom in a place that needs to show students what technology can be.
Your donation will help my students expand their skills and develop new methods of learning with the use of technology.
