Interactive and Engaging Tools for Hands On Learning for Kindergarteners

Help me give my students hands on materials for small group activities and manipulatives/toys for exploration in choice time! We will use the games and number blocks for engaging and hands on lessons.

My Project

Our class is in need of interactive methods of learning crucial skills such as addition, subtraction, reading and writing consonant vowel consonant (CVC) words, and hands on manipulatives for choice time. The activities/games would make small group activities more engaging and allow students to actively participate in their learning of these challenging concepts.

My goal is to allow all students in my classroom free access to developmentally appropriate materials that engage in their interests, peak their curiosity, and allow them to learn complex concepts through exploration.

My students all come from varying backgrounds. Some students haven't had the opportunity to attend school prior to joining our Kindergarten class. Others have been to school and are eager for new ways to learn and explore. All of my students learn best through interactive and hands on activities and an increase in tools to be able to achieve this would be greatly appreciated!
