Interacting Effectively

My Students

Our school is full of TIDE tradition from elementary to high school with a wide variety of ability levels and backgrounds, our building consists of grades 5-8.

Our 5th graders are a huge turning point in our TIDE community.

This is our students' first year of middle school, which is always a difficult transition.

These students are the future of our school's traditions where they begin to find their love for life and their futures. With 70% free and reduced price lunch, we do our best to provide our awesome kiddos with comforts they may never experience.

My Project

This particular item will allow my 5th graders the opportunity to collaborate on a similar level as those at the business level to come up with effective responses for ELA or Mathematics. The flexible seating idea is overtaking elementary schools all over the country. In our middle school, we spend a majority of the 5th grade year preparing our students for middle school life outside of our self-contained classroom.

This table will allow my students a comfortable classroom setting with a variety of working spaces and the ability to communicate effectively with their peers to see success among a variety of assignments.
