Our school is based on community, and that is evident in my classroom with student input. Students learn cooperatively and in a variety of groups-some small and some large. Although remote learning has presented some challenges to our learning style, it is a struggle that we are getting through together as a team and as part of the larger school community.
During the trying times and uncertain days, the one thing that keeps us connected is retaining strong communication. Students and teachers have long been connected. Remote learning has not eliminated the connection; rather, it has changed the way we connect.
Emails and videos are the new norm for making and keeping connections.
Students have questions all around the clock, and answering them concisely is imperative to a job well done. An iPad will allow more flexibility in terms of email response and staying up-to-date on assignment submission. Help me help them by providing them the assistance they need
