My Project

My students always love science and need encouragement during reading. As a teacher, we have way too much to cover throughout the year.

To solve both of these problems, encouraging their love of reading, and making more of an impact with our time, we want to use the Amelia Earhart books to integrate our science studies into our language arts learning time.

When we study wave patterns, we use Amelia Earhart to talk about sound and light waves. This story will be a fun way to connect our science while we focus on reading skills and strategies.

We will be able to get through more science curriculum, and we can tie it to our science learning, which they are always excited about. I know they will love to read more about what we are learning in science but in a little bit of a different way.
