Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach in a diverse area, and my hard-working students come to school every day ready to learn. I love my students! They are hard-working, eager learners. They come from diverse backgrounds including various ethnicities and diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. I use whole-brain teaching strategies in my classroom, so my students are constantly engaged in learning and sharing ideas with each other. I want my students to have all of the essentials they need to be able to love life every day.
My Project
Chrome books are a valuable teaching and learning tool in my classroom. We value and enjoy using our Chrome books. In addition, my students need mice and individual ear phones for everyone to go with our Chrome books. The mice will be useful in helping students learn how to use a mouse versus using the touch pad. Ear phones for everyone will help cut down on sharing and germs and the organizer will help keep them all separate for students to get on their own! With your help, our students can further their 21st century skills in the first grade!
