My 5th-grade students love to learn and try new things. Unfortunately, since they come from low-income families they do not get the opportunity to be exposed to different experiences. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. We also have a program that will feed lunch to students during the summer for free. Even though they are less fortunate they love and desire to learn. Due to poverty, their access to technology at home is limited, and I would love the ability to close the digital divide.
My Project
I have a lovely bunch of students who enjoy learning in creative and different ways. We were blessed with a set of iPad air 2s, but we are in need of protective cases for the iPads! These cases will allow peace of mind that the iPads will be protected and safe while in the care of our students. We would keep the cases on the iPads at all times, and we already have a special cart to store the iPads when they are not in use.
Otterbox cases will help ensure the protection of our iPads while they are being used by our fifth-grade students.
My students are excited to have the opportunity to engage in learning while using the iPads! I have several programs ready to install on the iPads, and I have many interactive lessons and activities readily available for my students to use as soon as we can get the iPads protected.
