Help me give my students a way to express themselves through creative arts.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are motivated 21st-century learners, who come to school every day with a smile on their face and a can-do attitude.
The children love to explore, create, interact with peers, and learn new things.
The way they engage in the learning process is absolutely amazing. Although they are only in elementary school, they have already made connections between what they have learned in school and the real world. I am honored to be a part of their early learning experience.
My Project
Every student's table will have an art center. This will allow the students to meet COVID safety and health guidelines. The materials purchased will give students a creative way to express themselves. In reading, students will paint and/or draw characters, settings, and events from stories read or heard. Connections in social studies will allow students to use modeling clay to build different landforms. Students can paint/draw shapes to apply math and geometry skills. They will also draw/paint maps of their neighborhood. Modeling clay can be used in science to explore textures such as smooth, bumpy, and sticky.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
