The items I chose for the classroom will help my students have fun engaging reading experiences. The children incorporate whole brain learning, as they explore the alphabet with the Wiki sticks. The students will have visually rewarding experiences as they use the individual alphabet books to learn the sounds and words associated with each letter of the alphabet. The interactive daily chart gives the students concrete experiences with the days of the week, weather, past, present, and future dates. The different pocket charts will help students manage their own learning as they manipulate, see touch, read, and hear various words.
