My Students

Band programs teach students the skills needed to be the leaders of tomorrow.

Unfortunately, many urban band programs are underfunded and have students who cannot afford their own instruments. My students want to be there and need instruments that can help them maximize their potential.

My Project

The first few weeks of band are the most critical for a student. If the instrument they are using does not play well how can a beginner even start their journey?

Most of the students in my school cannot afford basic necessities, let alone renting band instruments.

These instruments will give my students the ability to achieve their musical goals without constant stoppages because of wear and tear repairs from over 40 years of service.

These instruments will help the students of my school for years to come. The ease of play will inspire them to practice more and come to school to participate in band.
