This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Arts and music are often overlooked in our strive to continually test and drill our students. But it has been proven that a solid education in music and arts is just as important as the core academic subjects.
Our students need a musical outlet after school.
Many are talented singers, performers, and musicians who do not have the opportunity to showcase their skills and abilities. The Rock Band will need instruments. The guitars would be an nice addition to the rock band. Students will practice for performances, jam, and simply rock out. Music must be an important part of their academic curriculum.
Music is an important part of learning and growing. A big part of being in high school is the town halls and rallies where the school rock bands can entertain and bring out the school spirit. Music is one of the most important aspects of a teenager's life. The electric guitar will be used by the school rock band for performances and practices.
