This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are exceptionally hard workers. Many of them come from backgrounds in which they have to work part-time jobs, take care of their families, as well as manage their academics and extra-curricular activities.

My students continue to change my life daily.

Many people often think a classroom is centered around a teacher teaching students, but the truth is, I learn more about hard work, dedication, and persistence everyday I am around them. Please continue to support my amazing and dedicated musicians in whatever we may need!

My Project

This project is a hodgepodge of supplies that every musician and student needs in the orchestra classroom! From shoulder rests to tuners to anchor straps, these supplies are crucial to helping a musician do things such as: maintaining appropriate posture and technique and aiding in ear training, which in turn helps the entire ensemble.

Lack of supplies should not be the reason a student cannot participate in any type of musical ensemble.

Our goal for the next couple of years is to continue growing this ensemble and to include as many students as possible so help us give our students exactly what they need to be successful!
