My students need the following instruments Saxophone and Trombone so they can better understand Tone Color (instrument sound) when I teach them about instrument.

Sight is equally important as Sound!! As part of my Music Curriculum, When I teach Tone Color which means the way instruments sound when they are played. It will easier for my students especially the younger students to be able to see and hear the instruments I teach for better understanding.
I teach students from all demographics.
The school my students attend is a Title 1 school which means a lot of students are not as fortunate as other students. They are an awesome group of students who loves learning about music. Having these instruments would give these students a new way of understanding instruments.
Having these instruments will really help my students to better understand what I am teaching them. When I was teaching lessons on Tone Color (instrument sound), it would have been so much easier if they had seen the instruments in person instead of on posters. It would have also made identifying the instruments easier because the students would have been familiar with the way the instrument looks and sound. I am also going to teach Tone Color (instrument sound) to my kindergarten class and the lesson would be much easier for them to understand if I had instruments to show what they are hearing. They would be so excited!
If you donate to this project, the students will have a better understanding of instruments sight and sound.
If the students can see these instruments as well as hear them than it will get them excited about playing instruments when they get to the next level. Also at the end of each lesson I teach, I give an assessment over what the students have learned. I feel if the students had these instruments to see as well as hear during the lesson, the test will be easy for them to pass. Thank You!!
