This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The majority of instruments in the music program are outdated and in poor condition, with repair costs exceeding the price of a new replacement. Investing in a new instrument would provide students with a reliable tool for years to come, ensuring uninterrupted practice and performance. A high-quality, well-functioning instrument can also boost students' confidence and encourage them to continue their musical journey.
Adding a new saxophone would make a significant impact, as it is often expensive to rent and inaccessible to many students.
Providing an instrument for students to use would allow those facing financial hardship to participate in the band, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to develop their musical skills and be part of the program.
