This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me create a memorable learning experience! My classroom serves students with mild to moderate disabilities which include a range of the inability to regulate emotions to dyslexia and ADHD. Students have been challenged to navigate through Covid both at home in in school. I strive to create a safe and fun learning space where students can be themselves!
It is crucial that I have the tools to serve all grade levels to support different learning styles as well as those who need extension activities to carry their learning even further.
I serve students in all learning areas including Social Emotional Learning, Reading, English Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies. Manipulatives help to investigate concepts, games are a fun way to practice what they've learned and books help students make connections to their learning. My students are passionate about learning each day and this project will deliver the extra love and support they need!
