My Students
I teach Spanish at a middle school in a high-poverty area with a fantastic faculty. We are dedicated to our students and have been designated again as a National School to Watch this year. Over 50% of our student population receives free or reduced-cost lunch. I am broadcasting from home to my classes and as new language learners; they struggle and need visual help. My students eagerly embrace lessons while I explain the concept on the board.
My student will benefit greatly from a progressive, interactive lecture, just like with a traditional whiteboard.
I love my students and am so impressed with their resilience as many have gone and are going through a lot of difficult times and still fight for a bright future.
Students will definitely be more engaged as I will be able to hand-draw graphics, and diagrams to create information-rich content for an interactive learning atmosphere.
My Project
This will an efficient teaching tool that integrates the best features of traditional and new teaching. It will help create a progressive, interactive lecture, just like a traditional whiteboard only more versatile.
Through this instant visual communication, students will boost their comprehension and retention.
While broadcasting, the tablet will allow me to create and explain interactive content visually by writing, editing, and annotating directly in files and sharing their screen in real-time, mark assignments or presentations, annotate texts, hand-drawn images, graphics, and diagrams to create information-rich content for an interactive language learning atmosphere and, simultaneously, respond to students queries.
