This fall, I’ll be welcoming a new group of bright, curious preschoolers into our inclusive classroom. For many, this will be their very first school experience. These early days are filled with wonder, exploration, and big emotions—and I want to capture it all in a meaningful way.
As I prepare for the new school year, I'm hoping to provide our classroom with a Fujifilm Instax instant camera and film so we can start capturing joyful learning moments right from the beginning.
In past years, I’ve personally covered the cost of printing photos to document classroom milestones and memories. With your support, we can instantly preserve spontaneous, heartwarming moments as they happen—whether it’s a child making a new friend, completing a puzzle, or proudly sharing their artwork.
These snapshots will be used throughout the year to support each child’s learning portfolio and will be compiled into a keepsake album to take home at the end of the year.
Research shows that seeing themselves in photos helps young children build self-esteem, a sense of belonging, and confidence in their abilities. Having these visual reminders of their progress and participation boosts engagement and pride in learning.
