My Students
I teach at a Title I school in Virginia Beach. I have eighteen wonderful first grade students in my class. They are busy, eager to learn, and always on the go! They are a sweet class that I love! Everyday we stay busy taking advantage of every single minute that we have together!
My students love working together in small groups and participating in hands-on, student centered problem solving activities.
Student directed activities that are relevant for them and their lives are key!
In first grade, I am constantly looking for innovative and creative ways to motivate my children to want to learn.
I want my students to be successful and what better way to encourage this than by providing them these Math materials to be successful!
My Project
My students are eager to learn everyday! They are busy, hands-on and excited to learn! These Math Instant Learning Centers from Lakeshore Learning will provide them the hands-on learning they need! While they are working at their own pace with classmates on these I will be able to spend more time with them helping them master math objectives! The ready to use centers from Lakeshore are self-guided, self-correcting, and build self confidence in my students!
These 8 Instant Math Learning Centers from Lakeshore have everything students need to build Math skills independently and be successful!
These ready to use centers will help me spend more time teaching my students and give them the ability to learn at their own pace!
They love learning and these math materials will help foster their love of learning everyday!
We use technology daily, but my students need hands on experiences. These materials will be great!
