Instant Feedback in Music Class with Erasable Tablets

My Project
I teach general music to students in grades K–6 and ensemble classes for students in grades 3–8. My students are creative, energetic, and full of musical potential! I see most of them multiple times each week, and music has become a meaningful part of their school day. They love activities that get them moving, thinking, and expressing themselves — especially when they get to show what they know in real time.
These tablets will make a huge impact by giving all our students an easy, engaging way to participate and receive instant feedback in music class.
Instead of passing out clipboards, paper, pencils, and collecting everything at the end, students can grab a tablet and start participating immediately. These LCD tablets erase with the click of a button, and each one comes with a lanyard to keep the stylus attached — no worrying about lost supplies or dried-out markers like with whiteboards. My goal is to increase student engagement, check understanding quickly, and better support those who need extra help. This large class set will be used not just in my classroom, but by our entire K–8 music department, with extra tablets available for our largest classes and for backup when one breaks.
