My Project

Please consider donating to our Kindergarten classroom of 30 students who are beginning, impressionable young readers. My students love the author Mo Willems with his Piggie and Gerald books as well the the Pigeon series. These stories are not only engaging, but they are inspiring my students to pick up books to read.

In Kindergarten, we are not only learning letters, sounds, high-frequency words, etc, but learning how to use literacy skills to become strong readers of the world around us.

With these engaging stories, my students will have the passion to read and tackle new challenges within the English language and comprehension skills.

With your donation, my students who come from low-income and a lot from poverty, will have the resources for learning with interest that they may not have in other settings. We would be truly grateful for your support for our young readers around the world.
