My Students

Our school is a Title l school. Many of the students in second grade receive speech services and special education services due to learning disabilities. About 80% of them receive free lunch.

The students are very eager to learn new things.

They have very diverse learning needs. They enjoy using technology in the classroom. We are always researching new ways to engage and challenge our students.

We have the very best students! Please help us give them the best education possible. They deserve it!

My Project

Our students do not currently have a writing program. Writing is a struggle for many of our students. The program that we are requesting is research based and teaches one hundred percent of the Common Core Writing and Grammar standards. It also meets the writing guidelines that have been set by our state.

Writing City is an engaging curriculum!

The lessons have teacher friendly tools and an online publishing platform. With this program, we will be able to better meet the needs of our diverse population. The program is a K-5 comprehensive program. Writing City will help our students become confident and capable writers.
