Inspiring Young Artists Through Printmaking

Help me give my students supplies to experience printmaking including aluminum baking pans, brayers, water-soluble printing ink, and additional tools to create vibrant, layered designs.

My Project

My students are creative, curious, and eager to learn new artistic techniques. They come from diverse backgrounds, and many do not have access to art supplies at home. Art class is a safe and inspiring space where they can express themselves, develop confidence, and explore their creativity.

This project will introduce my students to the exciting world of printmaking.

They will create vibrant, layered designs on various surfaces using Gelli plates, water-soluble block printing inks, brayers, and texture tools. Including aluminum baking sheets will provide students with organized and clean workspaces.
