My students need inspirational books about infographics for an upcoming project, where students will "tell a story with data" by creating infographics about topics they care about!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In the STEAM lab, students learn that science, tech, engineering and mathematics can be creative, exciting, and fun. We have a positive classroom environment that embraces 21st century learning.
My students are incredibly diverse, coming from families that speak languages from all around the world.
My school is a place where these learners, who often struggle, are embraced and supported with a positive learning environment. Project-based learning, personalized learning, and multi modal instruction make sure that every student has an opportunity to learn something exciting.
My Project
In the world of education, the need for students to access the "real-world" through math and science is talked about constantly. This being said, we fall, too often, back into using the same materials and modes of presenting data and information that have been used for decades.
Infographics are a way of showing how interesting and fascinating the new field of "Data-storytelling" can be.
These infographic books will become the inspiration for my students to create their own infographics during an upcoming project. Students will use high-interest, high-quality examples as exemplars for their own work, where they will create an infographic about a topic they feel passionate about.
