My Project
In our classroom, we love bringing stories to life through art. With a Toniebox audio player and a set of Disney Tonies, my students will have the chance to listen to engaging stories and songs that spark their imaginations and inspire them to express themselves through drawing and creative projects.
Research shows that integrating audio storytelling with visual arts helps children develop listening skills, comprehension, and emotional expression.
By hearing stories and songs, students can follow directions for guided drawing activities or illustrate their favorite characters and scenes—building literacy and artistic confidence at once. I’d also love to use a blank Tonie to upload custom audio that guides students through drawing exercises and teaches key art concepts.
Having art supplies and a Tonie box will be a resolution to creating an engaging listening center that will also promote the creativity of each student as they draw meaningful pictures based on the story they listened to. This project will help bring stories, music, and art together in a joyful, creative way. Students will listen, imagine, and then create—making reading and the arts more meaningful and fun every day.
