Each week I work with 300 students, bringing Enrichment activities to their classroom. Enrichment for All gives students of all academic levels a chance to participate in activities that help them think more critically about things.
My students are active learners who love to learn new things.
My school is a diverse school with many backgrounds represented. They get excited about being challenged. This generation of learners thrives when technology is introduced in the classroom. From smart boards to Chromebooks to robotics, the future is technology.
When I design my Enrichment for All lessons, I really try to find activities that the average student would not have access to do and complete at home. Students will be able to control just about anything using their Makey Makey kits.
Both the Makey Makey kits and the paper circuit materials are a fun and exciting way to get STEM into the classroom!
With the use of technology increasingly becoming more and more a part of our everyday lives, it is important to introduce my students to computer programing and STEM activities. These activities will help to challenge students in ways that the regular curriculum does not!
